In an effort to raise public awareness about environmental conservation and to teach children the importance of protecting our planet, JCI Austin Perdana and Gemilang Coachwork Sdn Bhd have teamed up to host a meaningful family beach clean-up event. The event aims to draw attention to the health of our oceans and contribute to the wellbeing of both the community and marine environment.

The event is scheduled to take place on 4th May 2023 (Thursday, public holiday) at Tanjung Lompat in Desaru, from 6 am to 2 pm. On the day of the event, participants will be guided by volunteers from the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) to appreciate the natural beauty of the sunrise and observe various bird species in the early morning. Following that, everyone will enjoy a breakfast prepared by local catering businesses. After the meal, participants will engage in the beach clean-up effort, contributing to the preservation of our shared home.

A wide range of fun and educational activities for children has been organised, allowing kids to learn about nature while having a great time. At around 11:30 am, participants will gather at the event site to partake in various entertaining activities until 1 pm. Transportation will be provided for participants to return home after the event.

Spaces for this event are limited, so be sure to sign up quickly! To ensure a smooth event, organisers will provide transportation and meals (breakfast and lunch). Please come prepared with raincoats, as the event will take place rain or shine.

For those interested to join, don’t hesitate to sign up!
