In honour of the fasting season, Regency Specialty Hospital (Regency) is pleased to host its yearly Lets Cook Porridge Charity (Jom Masak Bubur Lambuk Amal) event.
This initiative by Regency to give back to the community during the holy month while also fostering a sense of community and giving during this auspicious month is being held for the sixth year.
Around 6000 packs of bubur lambuk were given away as part of this year’s Jom Masak Bubur Lambuk Amal, which was a big success. The response from the government organisations and business partners that assisted in preparing, cooking, and packing bubur lambuk on the hospital grounds on 30 March 2023, was overwhelmingly positive.
The Regency team later distributed thousands of bubur lambuk packets to patients and visitors at the hospital, as well as members of the public at various locations nearby.
“We are grateful for the support of our corporate partners and government agencies, which have joined forces to make this event a success.
“Their dedication and commitment to the community are truly commendable, and we are proud to work alongside them to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need,” said Regency’s Chief Executive Officer, Serena Yong.
Regency in its statement said it will remain dedicated to improve the neighbourhood through a variety of CSR programmes. The hospital has launched a number of programmes to give back to the community, including the Jom Masak Bubur Lambuk Amal event.
