Ranhill SAJ Notifies Water Disruption in Parts of Johor

Ranhill SAJ, a supplier and operator of clean water supply needs in the state of Johor, has announced planned water supply disruption in Johor Bahru, Kota Tinggi, Kulai and Pontian districts from today, 28th July 2026 at 9am to 29th July 2026 at 8am, a duration of 23 hours.

In its official social media post, the reason for the disruption is maintenance work at the Semangar Water Treatment Plant, Kota Tinggi.

“Dear customers, this maintenance work is an initiative that must be carried out according to the planned schedule to comply with the standards set by the national water industry, thus improving the quality of treated clean water supply services in the state of Johor,” the post on 21st July 2026 stated.

Ranhill has also emphasised that the storage tank in each of your premises can last up to 24 hours of normal use if the disruption affects your area and if you do not have a storage tank, you are advised to prepare sufficient water storage containers for use throughout the disruption period.

It is also reminding the public to use water smartly and to avoid wasting water.
