The private industry has stepped up the plate in order to facilitate its adoption by public private partnerships as the Government implements its National Immunisation Plan (NIPs) for frontline operators in phase 1.

With the NIP reaching Johor, KPJ Puteri Specialist Hospital (KPJ Puteri) presented the Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA), the biggest public hospital in the city of Johor Bahru, with three (3) computers.

“This commitment is expected to continue to strengthen the preparations, in particular the infrastructure at the centre in order to facilitate the process of the National COVID-19 Immunisation Plan which have been expected to complete its initial phase by April after the launch at the end of February,” said Haliza Khalid, Chief Executive Officer of KPJ Puteri.

“KPJ Puteri will continue to play its part as a private operator to assist and have preparation to meet the needs of the government as well as the Sultanah Aminah Hospital vaccine centre, she said in a press release after delivering the device.

Puan Haliza also pointed out that KPJ Puteri completely supports vaccines for the health frontliners through the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Malaysian Association of Private Hospitals (APHM).

KPJ Puteri has guaranteed the vaccination for all its medical experts and the frontliners of the hospital are vaccinated in phases from the middle of April.
