Permodalan Darul Ta’zim Increases its Contribution for CSR Efforts

Over RM6.675m in total was allocated for various Corporate Social Responsibility programmes since 2015

Permodalan Darul Ta’zim (PDT) has announced their increased CSR effort over the years since it first initiated in 2015. It started with RM100K in 2015 followed by RM800K in 2016 before it reached to over a million with RM1.225M in 2017 and RM2.55M in 2018. Meanwhile, RM2million was allocated for CSR programmes in 2019 and a total of RM6.675million since its inception has been injected for CSR aid.

All of the CSR programmes were organised and hosted by several departments and organisations namely the Johor State Secretary Office (Human Resource Management Department), the Zarith Sofiah Foundation, Johor Education Foundation (YPJ), Johor State Islamic Affairs Department (JAINJ), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia and the National Welfare Foundation (YKN).

Menteri Besar Johor Datuk Dr Sahruddin bin Jamal who is also the Chairman of PDT together with Johor State Secretary, Azmi Rohani and Tuan Haji Lukman Bin Abu Bakar, CEO of Permodalan Darul’ Ta’zim (PDT), handed out several mock cheques for 2019 to selected departments and organisations.

Among the effort that PDT is aiding includes Insentif Harapan Siswa, Short Course for Johor State’s State Administrative Officer & Publication of Buku Pena Jauhar the 3rd Series, PDT Master’s Education Fund & Johor State Government Employees Group of Executives Education Fund, 2019 KAFA Teachers Short Course and Expansion of Johor YKN Homeless Shelter (Anjung Singgah).

PDT is also funding the operational cost for several organisations like Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Foundation (YKTLJ), Perbadanan Usahawan Johor Sdn Bhd (PUJB) and Perbadanan Setiausaha Kerajaan Johor (SSI).
