Pekat Group Bhd’s indirect wholly owned subsidiary Pekat Solar Sdn Bhd has increased the value of its engineering, procurement, and construction contract for a large-scale solar project in Kulai, Johor, to approximately RM186.54 million from RM85.68 million previously.

Pekat Group announced the revision in a filing with Bursa Malaysia, citing supplemental agreements signed with the main contractor on 29th May 2026.

The agreements increased the capacity of the large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) energy-generation facility to 135-megawatt AC (MWac), up from 63 MWac under the contract announced on 2nd October 2025, according to the solar PV supplier.

Aside from the revision, it stated that all other terms of the contract would remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
