In order to promote a harmonious culture through sports as well as to support the nation’s pursuit of global sports excellence, Paragon Globe Berhad (PGB) as part of its CSR and 89 Team sponsored and co-organised the Paragon Badminton Cup 2022 which was held at Just In Sports Centre in Johor Bahru from the 9th till the 10th of July 2022.
Around 350 Malaysian badminton players participated in this tournament showcasing their enthusiasm for the tournament and portraying good sportsmanship.
The Paragon Badminton Cup 2022 was graced and officiated by Mohd Hairi bin Mad Shah, Johor Youth, Sports, Entrepreneur Development, Cooperatives and Human Resource Committee chairman on the opening day with the presence of the Executive Chairman of PGB, Dato’ Sri Edwin Tan Pei Seng.
The two-day tournament was successfully conducted in four categories namely the Men’s Double Open, Men’s Double Close, Mixed Double and Veteran Double. Total prize worth up to RM20,000 was offered to the winners across all categories.

The tournament ended at 3.00 pm on 10th July 2022, with a prize-giving ceremony for each category of the winners.
