The allocation includes funds for training and skills development to improve the marketability of the state’s workforce and employment ecosystem.

Menteri Besar Johor, Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, announced in a Facebook post that RM61 million has been allocated for loan financing for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students.

In addition, RM20 million is allocated to the Johor Talent Development Council, with RM18 million going to the Industrial Training Scheme.

In Putrajaya, he met with Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan and Deputy Minister Datuk Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan.

The meeting coincides with an increase in investment in the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), with an emphasis on ensuring an adequate, skilled, and relevant workforce supply.
