Aiming to support and enhance Persatuan DoktorDoktor Johor (PDDJ)’s service to the community, Datuk Teo Shiok Fu JP, Director of Keat Siong Developments Sdn Bhd had donated a Digital Electrocardiograph (ECG) machine to Dr. Ng Kim Fong, President of PDDJ.
The portable ECG machine will help the doctors to check patients’ heart condition, and it was well utilised at PDDJ’s recent Medical Camp in Felda Tenggaroh 05, Mersing, Johor. The Mersing Medical Camp was PDDJ’s 5th public medical camp to help the community. The previous medical camps were held the last two years at different areas in Johor namely at Sedili, Kota Tinggi, Pasir Gudang, Felda Medoi, Segamat and Kukup.
More than 145 doctors, nurses and medical students participated in the Mersing Medical Camp and they attended to 210 patients.
From the year 2018-2019, Datuk Teo and Dr. Ng had organised mini medical camps to help the elderly residents at Persatuan Kebajikan Prihatin Kuan Yin in Taman Bukit Kempas, Johor Bahru.
PDDJ’s free medical screening and consultation at its Medical Camps have been both beneficial and meaningful to the community and it would be exemplary if other individuals and corporations can also do their part to help the community.
