The third instalment in Johor readied patrons for more than just home purchasing

News Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Berhad (NSTP) brought their MyRumah Property Showcase down south at Komtar JBCC in Johor Bahru for their third installment as a one-stop platform for property consultation and home purchase that provided key information and insights of property buying.

Other than the main participation from federal housing development agency; Jabatan Perumahan Negara (LPN) and Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS), eight property developers and five non-developers offered over 3,400 units of residential and commercial properties with a total gross development value of over RM2.2 billion – the biggest for MyRumah showcase to date.

The property developers included Seri Alam, Seri Austin, Johor Land, UDA Land (South), Bukit Pelali Properties, Dynasty View and Guocoland, featuring their newest residential and commercial projects in and around Johor.

Officiating the exhibition, Sr. Dzulkefly Ahmad, Johor State Exco for Housing, Communication and Multimedia said, “Based on the prevailing positive sentiments in the market, I am confident of the sector’s potential both within the country and the state,” citing two ongoing development projects that would improve the city’s connectivity namely the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) and the Iskandar Malaysia Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).
