Bond over food with friends and families for a night of laughter and get together at Thistle Johor Bahru’s new dinner line-up “Muhibbah Buffet Dinner” that fuses cuisines for you to rekindle and connect with your loved ones at the Glass Restaurant at the lobby every Friday and Saturday evening from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
Give your home chef a break and treat him or her Thistle’s chefs’ special creations, where the highlight of the event is the mouth-watering ‘Kambing Tempayan’. Indulge in mutton marinated with traditional five spices and fragrant Malay bouquet garnish. Its sauce is slow-cooked for 15 hours over fire and the dish is served inside its own mini tempayan or claypot.
If you’re looking to buff up with protein, you’ll enjoy the ‘Rendang Minang’, a braised buffalo meat dish with herbs. Look for the live stations served by the ever-friendly waiters and chefs. Their service makes you feel right at home. Not forgetting all the main dishes, appetisers including salads and the taste-of-sea of seafood on ice, and even freshly made dim sums!
Every Saturday at 8pm by the poolside, feast on your delicious meal while a “Dynamic Fire Eater Show” entertains you. The professional fire eaters would definitely bring you gasps and awe as they perform eating and breathing fire for you. They will need a volunteer from the audience to help them too! So if you’re brave enough, you know what to do.
