MET Malaysia Issued Continuous Rain Warning on The Whole of Johor

Malaysian Meteorological Department (MET Malaysia) has released Continuous Rain Warning (DANGER) in effect until 2 March, 2023 involving Johor and other areas like Pahang’s Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Bera, Pekan & Rompin, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka.

The Warning of Strong Winds and Rough Seas for the waters of the South China Sea has been updated to be effective until 3 March 2023. 

At 3 p.m. on 1 March 2023, MET Malaysia’s official Facebook page announced that a rise in sea level is expected in the waters of Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, and East Johor until 3 March 2023, with the risk of sea water overflowing on the coast.

The public could obtain the latest weather information through the Department’s official website, the myCuaca mobile application and the Department’s official social media pages.
