Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB), a catalyst of change for the development of Iskandar Malaysia, is proud to co-organise the inaugural Nikkei Forum Medini Johor 2025, with Nikkei Inc., one of Japan’s most influential media organisations well known for its in-depth reporting on business, finance, and economic matters. Also hosted by the State Government of Johor, the forum is scheduled to take place from 18th to 19th June 2025, marks a significant milestone in positioning Medini as a vibrant, future-forward hub for innovation, investment, and regional collaboration in Asia.

Themed “Driving Asia’s Innovation Hub,” the first-ever Nikkei Forum to be held in Medini, Johor marks a pivotal moment for the region. It positions Asia as a rising centre for innovation, sustainability and strategic regional collaboration. With the Nikkei Forum from Japan, one of Asia’s most respected platforms for economic dialogue and the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) set to deepen cross-border integration, Medini offers a timely and fitting backdrop for high-level discussions on emerging technologies, digital transformation and future-forward policies. This forum serves as a gateway for fostering impactful partnerships, advancing shared economic goals and reinforcing Asia’s global competitiveness.

Established in 1995, the Nikkei Forum has earned a strong reputation as a premier platform for dialogue among Asia’s most influential political, business, and policy leaders. Over the years, it has become a key space for navigating the region’s evolving economic landscape, addressing global challenges, and shaping strategic collaboration across industries.

The highly anticipated two-day forum will convene over 500 global delegates and investors, featuring more than 20 distinguished speakers and 10 panel sessions. Attendees can look forward to a series of high-impact engagements, including an investment immersion tour of Medini and exclusive networking opportunities that will foster cross-border dialogue and strategic partnerships.
