Seri Austin’s Camellia Residence – all sold out including Bumiputera units

Seri Austin organised a Bumiputera Sales Campaign cum mass signing event to mark the successfully sold out Camellia Residence.

The Bumiputra sales campaign was held in response to the National House Ownership Campaign (HOC) launched by the government earlier this year to boost the number of property ownership in the country.

The mass signing for Camellia Residence which was launched in February 2019 and was declared sold out within 2-months, witnessed the signing of the Sales and Purchase Agreement of the residences which is expected to be completed in 2022.

“This is our effort to make owning a home more affordable especially for young couples. With the good response received for Camellia Residence, it is proven that the demand for houses is still there, but the issue is in terms of affordability,” said KK Wong, Group Director of UMLand Townships cum CEO of Seri Austin.

Wong added that the current slowdown faced in the market is a good opportunity for buyers to own a property, either to stay or for investment purposes.

“This is the best time to pick up the best bargains as property is a long-term investment and the market will eventually recover,” said KK Wong.

Special incentives will be given to Bumiputera buyers during the campaign period.

The event had a host of activities from free health screening, cultural performances, talks by banks and Johor Housing Secretariat.
