Over the weekend, Desaru Coast was the place to be, making waves with the Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast and the inaugural Ombak Festival. It was a weekend packed with music, food, art, and culture, and the festival took over the entire coast with different events happening at various spots.
Among the swanky 5-star partners, the Hard Rock Hotel stood out, buzzing with good vibes. The stage sizzled with performances from resident band Sweet Nightmares, the international singer-songwriter Matilde G, and the legendary superstar Dato Zainal Abidin. The night ended on a high note with Zainal Abidin’s electrifying show and a special memorabilia giveaway to the Hard Rock Hotel. Fans were thrilled as he took the time to pose for photos and autographs.
But the fun didn’t stop there. The whole weekend was a blast with something for everyone. There were quirky performances by Born In A Taxi’s ‘Zebras,’ Silent Disco Asia, fun Mereka Garden Games, a creative Puppet Making Workshop, and even a Star Wars-Inspired Wayang Kulit show.
Foodies were in for a treat too, with the mouth-watering Sliders & Sizzlers session running all evening. If there’s one thing Hard Rock Hotel nailed, it was the food and entertainment.
It was an unforgettable weekend, and festival-goers are already counting down the days to next year’s festival.
