Majestic Johor Gegar Raya Attracted 40,000 Visitors

Majestic Festival Johor Gegar Raya, the festive version of the Majestic Johor Festival under Tourism Johor has seen approximately 40,000 visitors at the festival that gathered vendors under one roof located at Educity Sports Complex, Johor which took place on 6,7,8 & 9 April 2023.

Its Programme Director, Muhammad Faiz Ariff Amzah, said he was grateful that the inaugural edition of Majestic Johor Gegar Raya 2023, which was organised by Gegar Event in collaboration with Tourism Johor, received an overwhelming response.

“So far, more than 36,000 have visited this program which features 88 stalls inside the hall while another 34 stalls mainly involve the preparation of food outside.

The festival brings dry goods vendors as many as 88 vendors and 36 food vendors located around the Educity Sports Complex like Hijabista Hub, Wardah, Bulan Bintang, Sugarbomb, Byhisdaisy, Fuchsia Beaute and others. Food vendors that located outdoors are Pogedil, Racha Tomyam, Hauslah and others.

Malaysian artists such as Hannah Delisha, Alif Satar, Syatilla Melvin, Shaheizy Sam and many more has joined and even set up their business together to liven up the Johor Majestic Festival.

The festival also celebrated Hari Raya joy together with Rumah Fitrah Kasih’s children in a fast-breaking function. Vendors participated by contributing in the form of ‘duit raya’.

According to Tourism Johor, “the Johor Majestic Festival became the only biggest Raya festival in Johor that gathered traders from around Johor & Kuala Lumpur, and they hope that with this festival, everyone present can get the spirit to celebrate as usual after we have been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic the past two over years.”
