Iskandar Malaysia Social Hero Awards (IMSHA) winner, Johor Bahru Happy and Joyous Club (JBHJC) to host its second Malaysia Laughter Yoga Conference – “Embrace Laughter” after nine years since its first inauguration.
It is expected that over 300 delegates from over 20 countries will gather in Johor Bahru for the conference happening from 25th to 27th July 2025 at New York Hotel, Johor Bahru.
Under the theme “Embrace Laughter,” the conference will feature Dr Madan Kataria, the founder of the global Laughter Yoga movement, flew all the way from India to the city, alongside 18 international and Malaysian speakers.
Among the exclusive activities of the conference highlights include the Joyous Cultural Street Night at Tan Hiok Nee Cultural Street on 26th July, a celebration of Malaysia’s rich multi-cultural spirit.
According to JBHJC, places of interest in this tour will include the Sultan Abu Bakar State Mosque, Johor Bahru Old Chinese Temple and the Mariamman Hindu Temple followed by a sumptuous Malay Cuisine food at the Malay Village Restaurant.
A pre-conference dinner and talk would also be held on 24th July 2025, an optional activity for participants and delegates.
“This one-of-a-kind gathering brings together laughter yoga practitioners, health professionals, wellness advocates, and joy-seekers from across the globe to explore laughter’s impact on mental, physical, and emotional well-being,” shared JBHJC.
The half day local Johor Bahru tour for overseas delegates after the conference on 27th July 2025 from 2.30pm-9.00pm would be offered for free. Participants just need to inform the organisers to reserve a seat in the free tour.
Participants may also enjoy a Special Deluxe room rate at New York Hotel for delegates at RM190 nett per night with breakfast for two pax.
