A fire has demolished four blocks of buildings at a plastic manufacturer located at Jalan Cyber 14, Senai Industrial Area Phase 3, Kulai, Johor.
According to a news report, the incident happened at 12:44 pm on Sunday, the 19th of December as told by Kulai Fire and Rescue Department operating commander Azmi A. Rahim.
“The fire initially destroyed a 100 x 200sq ft area but it spread due to strong winds and easily-combustible materials.
“We deployed three fire trucks, two water tankers, a foam truck, an aerial ladder platform (ALP) and 33 firemen to the location,” he said.
He further said that the fire destroyed 93% of the area and that no one was injured.
As of the news report release time, the firefighting effort is still ongoing.
