His Royal Highness Tunku Ismail, The Regent of Johor, has attended and witnessed a Heads of Agreement (HOA) signing ceremony between KPRJ Environment Sdn Bhd and Sembcorp Utilities Pte Ltd at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre on 27th January 2025.
The signing is believed to be heads of agreement for pre-development studies to develop large scale floating solar photovoltaic plants in Johor.
Johor Menteri Besar, Dato’ Onn Hafiz Bin Ghazi, Temasek Trust Chairman Datin Paduka Madam Ho Ching, Johor State Secretary Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Haji Azmi Rohani, and Consul General Ng Kuan Khai of the Republic of Singapore’s General Consulate in Johor also accompanied His Royal Highness.
Also present were Dato’ Lukman bin Abu Bakar, Chief Executive Officer of KPRJ and Director of KPRJ Environment Sdn. Bhd., while Koh Chiap Khiong, Chief Executive Officer of Singapore & Southeast Asia, Sembcorp Industries Ltd., and Director of Sembcorp Utilities Pte. Ltd.
