Effective immediately, Suriaghandi Suppiah has been named KPJ Healthcare Bhd’s new Chief Operating Officer. He takes over from Nik Zainon Yussoff who will be seeking other interests.
According to Ahmad Shahizam Mohd Shariff, the President and Managing Director of KPJ Healthcare, “Suriaghandi is a proven leader with over 24 years of experience in various aspects of business operations and proven expertise in investments, energy, healthcare, asset management, and property with an emphasis on strategy, business turnaround, and expansion.
Suriaghandi formerly served as the company’s Chief Transformation Officer, overseeing the company’s continuing transformation, including its digitalisation plan. Prior to joining KPJ Healthcare, he served as the COO of Parkway Laboratory Services under Parkway Group Healthcare and as the Deputy General Manager of hospital operations at Pantai Holdings Bhd.
He has also held positions with Khazanah National, Pantai Holdings Bhd, Parkway Group Healthcare Pte Ltd, Savills and Salcon Green Energy (UK), KPMG, and Pulau Indah Ventures.
“His experiences will help the company in our next phase of product development, expansion, innovation, and growth,” added Ahmad Shahizam.
