Jarrell’s notable acting and appearance on Mediacorp Chinese TV series ‘In Safe Hands 守护星’ has just earned him his first ever nomination for Best Rising Star (最佳潜力星) at the Star Awards 2023.
Aside from acting, Jarrell also participated in singing and producing the drama’s theme song ‘守护星 In Safe Hands’, which received praises from both fans and mainstream audiences.
“Since SPOP 2018, I was faced with a lot of difficulties and uncertainties, but this nomination is now a recognition that will give me more confidence and motivation to do better in the future. I feel very honoured and am excited to see my fans as well as everyone else at the ceremony,” Jarrell commented.
