Within 24 hours of starting their ticket sales, the Aku.Muzik&Kamu Festival, has gained popularity on social media platforms, and sold more than 50% of its tickets.

The Aku.Muzik&Kamu music festival, the biggest and first of its type in Johor, is going to be held at Educity Stadium in Iskandar Puteri on 20th May 2023, with a lineup of top-charting Malaysian and Indonesian acts such as Insomniacks, Ungu, Hujan, Bunkface, D’Masiv, Spider, 6ixth Sense, KerisPatih, Akim & The Majistret, and three Indonesian bands.

“When tickets went on sale at 2pm on 3rd April, indie rock fans who had been eagerly awaiting this show scooped them up,” said the organisers.

Organiser Coaction Events Sdn Bhd (CESB) Chief Executive, David Emir Bareng said there are 15,000 concert tickets on sale, and as of 5th April 2023, more than 50% have been sold, with the Galau category already sold out.

“We’re thrilled to see such a strong response from fans. While we knew that this concert would be popular, the selling rate is well above expectation,” said Bareng, adding CESB was committed to bringing impactful lifestyle and corporate events to the region.

Noh Salleh, the lead vocalist of HUJAN, expressed his excitement for the band’s performance in Johor because it has been a long time since they last played there, back before the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We have many fans from down South, including many from Singapore and Indonesia. We are elated to be able to work with CESB to perform in the Aku.Muzik&Kamu Festival because it will be presented in such an exciting format, and alongside so many other amazing performers,” said Noh.

Fans may anticipate hearing and dancing to a variety of timeless favourites from these outstanding musicians.

The venue is expected to be bustling with events and food sellers as CESB brings together MaQan Space, featuring over 40 vendors with a range of local food and snacks. Concert gates open at 12pm and performances start at 3pm.
