The Johor chapter saw the largest number of hotels joining in the spirit of “Play, Fun, Unite”

Malaysia Association of Hotels (MAH) Johor had organised its annual MAH Johor Games 2019 at Pulai Springs Resort as its host for the year. The opening ceremony was held at Le Grandeur Palm Resort on 17th July, 2019, and the games kicked off on three different dates with the final and closing ceremony held at once at Pulai Springs Resort.

21 hotels in Johor with 162 participants came together to compete in Volleyball, Bowling, Badminton, Futsal, Netball, Table Tennis and Carom – a total of 7 games.

Volleyball and Bowling games were held on the first day at at Le Grandeur Plam Resort with LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort and Le Grandeur Palm Resort coming in first place for each games respectively.

The second day saw Badminton and Futsal games held at Daiman Sports Centre last Saturday with DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru winning the Badminton game and LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort won the Futsal category.

The final day which was also the closing ceremony saw the remaining games of Netball, Table Tennis and Carom being held at Pulai Springs Resort. KSL Resort, Mutiara Johor and Renaissance Johor Bahru hotel won gold for the each respective category.

The final three games and overall champion was announced later during the closing ceremony and LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort reigned as the champions for MAH Johor Games 2019 with 2 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze and 18 points beating all other opponents and took home the challenge trophy.

It’s really great to see all hotel General Managers attending this event to give full support to your subordinates,” before closing the MAH Johor Games 2019 officially.
