HARLEY OWNERS GROUP – PETALING JAYA CHAPTER (HOPGPJ) has initiated their first official ride consisting 43 Harley-Davidson riders that gathered as early as 6.30 am at Harley-Davidson of Petaling Jaya at Harley-Davidson of Petaling Jaya (H-DPJ) before embarking on a 1,500km Ride Tour Malaya under the tagline “Thank You Front-liners”.
The pack took a total of 5 days and 4 nights going off with their starting point at Harley- Davidson of Petaling Jaya to Kuantan, Pahang. The route made their stops at Setiu, Terengganu, Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Grik, Perak, Alor Setar and Kuala Kedah, Kedah, Harley-Davidson of Penang, Pulau Pinang and final destination at The Lost World Of Tambun, Perak before going back to H-DPJ.
The push off at H-DPJ was officiated by YDH Ketua Polis Daerah Petaling Jaya ACP Nik Ezanee Bin Mohd Faisal, from Petaling Jaya Police Headquarters and his entourage. A new line-up of HOG-PJ Committee appointed by the sponsoring dealer was also announced, now spearheaded by Aznul Shahrudin as the Director, Ahmad Fikeri as the Assistant Director, Dr. Dasan Thanam as the Secretary and Dr Sahar Effendi Daud as the Treasurer.
Harley Owners Group is a motorcycle group dedicated to Harley-Davidson enthusiasts to relinquish their riding spirit in the open road together with their family members and riding buddies.
The pack made its time to visit several district police headquarters throughout their route to show gratitude, share their spirit and motivation to the frontliners for their dedication of service during the MCO.
