GSC International Screens x Searchlight Pictures Awards Showcase Features

As part of GSC International Screens vision to diversify its movie offerings and present a wider line-up of independent and specialty titles on the big screens, GSC International Screens has teamed up with Searchlight Pictures to present an Awards Showcase of two highly acclaimed titles, A Real Pain and A Complete Unknown at selected GSC locations* from 20th February and 27th February, respectively.

These selected titles, A Real Pain and A Complete Unknown have both made its mark globally, with multiple acclaimed award recognitions under their belts and recent nominations at the famed Academy Awards and Golden Globes this year.

A Real Pain captures heartfelt emotions on the big screens

Starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin as a pair of estranged cousins, David and Benji Kaplan who reconnect over their grandmother’s death, A Real Pain stands on its own as a captivating drama peppered with comedic elements throughout. With stellar performances by both leads in bringing their respective characters to life, A Real Pain explores significant themes such as grief and emotional pain, and how the pair’s contrasting personalities cope with loss in their own capacity.

Taking on the roles of director, writer, and front lead, Jesse Eisenberg’s second feature film, A Real Pain showcases his talent for blending humor with poignant storytelling and has since captivated audiences worldwide.
