GRAPHISOFT, the leading Building Information Modeling (BIM) software solution for architecture, held an exclusive Experience Archicad 24! digital event, for building professionals in Malaysia and Singapore on 27th August 2020. Archicad, the architects’ BIM software, offers end-to-end design and documentation workflow for architectural and integrated architectural and engineering practices of any size.
GRAPHISOFT conducted a product overview and demonstration of Archicad 24 from a local market perspective. Audiences learned how they can design and deliver projects of any size with Archicad’s powerful built-in tools and user-friendly interface; the ground-breaking architect-engineer collaboration through Integrated Design.
Keynote Speaker Bence Kovács, Vice President of GRAPHISOFT Asia, joined the team from GRAPHISOFT Singapore and Malaysia, including Edmund Lau, Managing Director, Chidambaram Chidambaram, Customer Success Director; Marcelo Morim, Senior Business Development Manager; and Carlo Riveral and James Badcock, BIM Consultants at the event. Two distinguished guest speakers from Lander Loke Architects, Ian Lander, and Catherine Loke, shared how Archicad has allowed them to design great buildings.

The event also featured Karl Fender, Founding Partner of Fender Katsalidis, in Melbourne, Australia, and long-time user of Archicad, who used the platform to design the second-tallest building in the world – the Merdeka 118. The 644-metre mega-tall skyscraper currently under construction in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was also chosen as the Archicad 24 signature building.
