Fake Account: Attorney General’s Chamber Warns Public

The public is advised to check the source of information received on social media properly

    A statement was issued by the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) to inform the public that they are taking the issue of a fraudulent account using their name seriously.  

    “The spread of inaccurate and misleading information that is currently going viral on social media, especially through the fake AGC account on Facebook, is something that AGC takes very seriously and regrets.”  

    According to the statement, the public is to take note that the AGC and the Prosecution Division have never offered any services as claimed by the fake account. 

    “In this regard, the public is advised not to disseminate such information, always be careful, and not be easily deceived by offers made by the fake account.”
