Sunway Malls unwrapped their Sunway Big Box Retail Park (Sunway Big Box) at a soft launch happening on 18th December, 2019 that is located within Sunway Iskandar, Johor, and extremely close to Singapore via the Coastal Highway Southern Link (CHSL), linked by Tuas.

The mall featured 80,000 sqft NSK Trade City, SSF, BookXcess, Golden Screen Cinemas, Loon Sing Restaurant, MOX, Sports Direct, EnerG X Park, Ace Hardware, Happy Fish, Mr DIY, Tomaz, Caltex, Starbucks, KFC, Burger King, Skechers, Young Hearts, Universal Traveller, Thai Odyssey, Gintell, Guardian, Maxis, U Mobile, Mr Dakgalbi, Absolute Thai, Chicken Rice Shop, Gong Cha, Tealive, Dum Dum Thai Tea, Famous Amos, Tan Ngan Lo, Funskate by Cobay, KB Fun, MyNews.com and Pet Lovers Centre.
Among the firsts in Johor Bahru are Happy Fish Swim School centre in Johor, a 16,000 sqft EnerG X Park and a 32,000 sqft BookXcess, carrying over 1.5million books in its outlet. 50% of the mall space are open for business, and is expected to open phase by phase with the number increasing to 70% in first quarter of 2020, 80% in quarter 2, 90% in quarter 3 and 95% by end of 2020.

“The hybrid retail park has a 500,000 sqft NLA across 2 levels and with 75% of the tenants having premium street level access,” he added.
In addition to all the excitement, Sunway Big Box will connect with KFC above Caltex petrol station, Starbucks outlet via pedestrian bridges and Burger King outlet where all of them will be featuring drive-through facility.
