AIESEC in Johor Bahru is hosting the Youth Speak Forum, a two-day event that intends to encourage the next generation of leaders while also emphasising occupational health wellness and career competency through practical learning and challenges in the form of an idea pitch competition.
The two-day event on the 6th and 7th of December 2024, will address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Along with a focus on SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), the event will also address SDGs 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and 13 (Climate Action). It’s the perfect platform for aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and change makers.
AIESEC is a global youth-led organisation committed to developing leadership qualities and cross-cultural understanding among young people.
AIESEC in Johor Bahru, a local chapter, believes in activating purposeful youth leadership in Johor Bahru by facilitating challenging experiences through innovative and sustainable action.
Collaborating with Youth Speak Forum (YSF), the event would focus on unemployment issues as well as a carbon emission reduction competition, with the goal of empowering youth to take action on environmental challenges and contribute to global sustainability initiatives.
The two-day event will provide participants with a unique opportunity to develop crucial business and leadership skills while addressing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a focus on SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDGs 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and 13 (Climate Action).
