EDUPLAY Express Programme to Over 500 Schools

Over 500 schools in Malaysia can experience brand new edutainment workshops that will be available exclusively in Sea Life Malaysia at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort (LEGOLAND). It will also be the first LEGOLAND in the world to organise EDUPLAY Express Programme in schools.

The resort has converted its educational Lego themed bus and will be introducing a re-freshed education programme including new educational workshops, available exclusively at Sea Life Malaysia that is scheduled to open in May 2019.

The initiative which was introduced in 2014 will see the EDUPLAY Express bus visit to schools around Peninsular Malaysia, starting from Johor allowing students to participate in fun, ed-ucational and interactive activities that is closely designed with Lego DNA.

Kurt Stocks, General Manager of LEGOLAND Malaysia said that the EDUPLAY Express Bus will include miniature versions of educational activities available at the park.

“Students will be introduced to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) elements through Lego, adding on to the existing LEGOLAND Education Programme that are available at the theme park such as Dr Heartbeat where students can learn about lifesaving and medical procedure also Energy Lab where they can build solar-powered car and learn about solar energy,” he said during the launch of the bus at Sekolah Kebangsaan Larkin 2, Johor Bahru.
