Doctors of Johor Extends Supply through Johor Bahru Mayor

Johor Doctors Association (PDDJ), in an effort to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in the city of Johor Bahru, has extended supply of medical equipment including personal protective equipment (PPE) to the mayor, Dato Haji Adib Azhari bin Daud of Johor Bahru City Council (MBJB). The donation was presented by Dr Ng Kim Fong, President of the Johor Doctors Association, at Menara MBJB Bukit Senyum on 19th July 2020.

The city council was using these items for decontamination works at public areas, dialysis units and clinics. Other items include 400 pairs of boot cover, 450 pieces of isolation gown, 240 pieces of hood cover, 700 pieces of mask and 100 pieces of coverall.

PDDJ is an association dedicated to serving the community of Johor, providing free health screenings and home visits for ill patients. Established in 2017, the non-profit association with 250 members consisting of doctors, dentists, nurses, physiotherapists and medical assistants all worked hand in hand with the mission to promote health awareness within the community of Johor and to provide free health screenings and home visits among others to contribute to the community.
