Sea.Fire.Salt, the signature steakhouse at Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas, is kicking off the festive season with the launch of its revamped Saturday brunch offering – Brunch & Plunge.

With its sparkling ocean views and relaxed poolside setting, Sea.Fire.Salt is the perfect spot to dive into an abundant buffet paired with a menu of made-to-order items. Between trips to the buffet line, guests are welcome to take photos with flamingo floaties and pass-around crab bites adding a touch of Miami glamour.

In addition to premium seafood perched on a bed of crushed ice, the buffet line will present luxe appetisers such as air-dried bresaola with melon, crab meat salad, and artisanal cheeses and charcuterie galore. Two live stations will be serving up freshly shucked oysters and homemade pasta folded in lobster bisque and enhanced with prized ingredients – poached lobster and plump scallops.

For their mains, guests can choose from the à la carte selection, including braised Wagyu beef ribs with truffle mousseline, harissa lamb cutlets with mint lamb jus and cauliflower purée, and all-time brunch classics such as eggs Florentine and French toast. Sweet moments, also available à la carte, will come in the form of flourless chocolate cake, lychee pistachio tart, and layered ‘Monte Carlo’ dessert with mango.

Specially curated drinks such as Flamingo Fizz which consists of Gin, elderflower syrup, top-up Fentimans pink grape fruit and a dash of Cranberry juice is priced at RM58+. The hotel also offers Pink Flamingo made with grapefruits juice, cranberry juice, lemon juice, syrup and top-up with soda at RM38+.

Brunch & Plunge at Sea.Fire.Salt is priced at RM298+ per person (food only). Add RM78+ for zero alcohol drinks such as juices and soft drinks, RM148+ for Campari cocktails and RM268+ for wine and beer. This takes place every first Saturday of the month from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm.
