In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas and Turmeric Restaurant proudly present Citarasa Rempah Warisan by their culinary team, a special epicurean showcase honouring the traditions of Ramadan through a thoughtfully curated menu. From 2nd to 30th March 2025, guests are invited to break their fast with a flavourful journey through time-honoured recipes, regional specialties, and heartfelt hospitality that embodies the spirit of togetherness during this sacred season.

Guided by the philosophy of love, sincerity, and the joy of cooking, this exquisite menu reflects Malaysia’s rich culinary tapestry, featuring the finest local ingredients and authentic preparation techniques. Each dish is crafted to provide nourishment and comfort, making it the perfect breaking of fast experience for families and friends gathering to observe Ramadan. Hero dishes include:

Appetizers & Starters:

  • Island Appetizer by Chef Sakirin– A vibrant selection of foraged greens and jungle herbs, including Ulaman Ulaman, Acar Rampai Bijan, and Gado-Gado.
  • Kerabu Delights– Featuring Kerabu Pucuk Paku, Kerabu Ayam, Kerabu Ulam Raja, and Kerabu Daging Batang Pinang Salai.
