The A Night to Remember: Rock Nostalgia concert brought rock nostalgia to life at the Arena Larkin Indoor Stadium in Johor with electrifying performances by Ella, Masdo, and Exists.
The concert featured an unforgettable blend of iconic hits such as Gemilang, Teruna & Dara, and Rahsia Pohon Cemara, transporting fans back in time and evoking cherished memories of local artists who have long graced Malaysia’s music industry. Malaysia’s Queen of Rock, Ella, delivered a breathtaking performance, energising the audience with her passion and charisma.
“After more than 10 years of not performing a concert in Johor, being on stage tonight is truly exhilarating,” said Ella. “Thank you to all the fans that came, especially those who dressed up tonight. You are all amazing!”
Fans were not only treated to iconic tunes but also elevated the spirit of nostalgia through their creative outfits. The vibrant atmosphere was filled with fans dressing up to embody their favourite music legends.
“Seeing so many fans styled like our personas feels like performing in the 1970s,” said Masdo. “Their energy made us even more fired up on stage.”
Exists also expressed their joy in reconnecting with their audience. “We are deeply moved to see how our music is still appreciated to this day,” said Exists. “Watching a new generation sing along to our songs with such enthusiasm is truly extraordinary.”
Fans shared their own experiences of the nostalgic evening. “I was so excited to see Ella live and sing along to the songs that shaped my youth,” said an attendee from Muar, Johor.
Organised by Coaction Events in collaboration with Tourism Johor, the concert is part of the initiative to promote Johor as a premier destination for world-class events leading up to Visit Johor 2026.
