Sunway Brings the Community Together During the Mid-Autumn Festival

Sunway Property brought Johoreans a memorable Mid-Autumn festival in conjunction with the opening of Sunway Lenang Heights’ new 3 storey Semi–d show unit which is expected to launch by end of this year.

Throughout the day, more than 400 visitors thronged into the development with their families to join in the festivities which was filled with activities.

The families, which included young children, crowded around a rabbit farm which was set-up in one of Sunway Lenang Heights’ show homes. The gleeful children fed the rabbits and also had the opportunity to bring their own rabbit home by making their own paper rabbits out of colourful origami paper. In addition, they also sampled fluffy cotton candy in the shape of rabbits as well as mooncakes to celebrate the occasion.

Besides the rabbit-themed activities, visitors also took the opportunity to learn calligraphy and battle their skills at a giant chess board while others watched in thrilled anticipation. Those who wanted to learn how to play chess also had the opportunity to learn from experts present at the event.

The highlight of the event was performance by the students of Paragon Private and International School. The crowd was enraptured by the skills of the students who demonstrated their athleticism with robust cheerleading performances.

At the end of the evening, a chess grand finale was held where the players of the day played an enthusiastic chess game. Di Xu Wei, 17 and Lim Zen Hong, 13 emerged as the winners of the first and second session of the competition, and walked away with the grand prize of RM200 each.
