Patrons were treated to memorable experiences taking selfies with their favourite characters Elmo and Cookie Monster
For most of us, growing up over the years, we were treated to a favourite jovial educational TV show called Sesame Street. With such memorable characters that stood the test of time and have been immortalised by their simple colourful fur coats and wondering where are their feet the whole time, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie are among the favourites on the show.
R&F Mall Johor Bahru brought these real life characters down to JB in conjunction with Sesame Street’s 50th birthday. Themed “Celebrating Sesame Street 50 Years and Counting”, the exhibition featured a wide variety of entertaining and interactive activities.
Fans were not only given a chance to get up close and personal with Elmo and Cookie Monster, but also snap selfies with the largest inflatable Elmo in Southeast Asia!
From 14th June to 14th July 2019, the main concourse at R&F Mall JB is transformed into a giant Sesame Street play land featuring the popular characters from the show. One of the most exciting part of the exhibition is the giant inflatable bouncy house which is like heaven for children between 5 to 12 years old.
“We are delighted to partner with Sesame Street Workshop in celebrating the TV show’s 50th anniversary. Sesame Street has been on air for half a century and we believe this evergreen TV show is not only appealing to kids but also to the adults who are young at heart,” said Daphne Tan, Marketing Director of R&F Mall.
