1000 Ramadan boxes consisting food and drinks were handed out to asnaf category
Kumpulan Prasarana Rakyat Johor Sdn Bhd (KPRJ) had organised a CSR programme, KPRJ-HOPE by delegating 1000 Ramadan boxes for targeted asnaf group around Johor Bahru and Muar.
The KPRJ-HOPE’s Ramadan box, filled with food and drinks was distributed since 16th of May 2019. Each worth RM150.00, the box is one of KPRJ’s way to aid the group in need and to increase good deeds during the holy month.
A total of 1000 Ramadan boxes were carefully allocated to target groups like asnafs, orphanages, welfare houses, mosques, KPRJ-HOPE’s adopted religious schools and single mothers around Johor Bahru and Muar.
KPRJ’s CEO, Dato’ Haji Mohd Noorazam bin Dato’ Haji Osman said, “This year, under KPRJ-HOPE initiative, KPRJ has delegated around 1000 Ramadan boxes containing food and beverages like dates, biscuits, milk, sugar, cordial concentrate, coffee, tea and a lot more.”
“We envision KPRJ-HOPE’s Ramadan box as one of KPRJ’s way to help people in need by aiding their fasting deed and lightening their load through the fasting month.”
“KPRJ would continue to contribute not only during the fasting month but also through other KPRJ-HOPE initiatives in the future. KPRJ would always be a concerned and responsible GLC to its surrounding society and community”, he added.
