The second Toast Box in JB bringing their delight to Seri Austin
Located at Zircon Seri Austin, the second Toast Box in Johor Bahru after its first in Zenith Mall is open, and greeted the neighbourhood with free food sampling early in the morning of the opening.
Offering their well-known freshly-ground caramelised Nanyang coffee and a menu of familiar home favourites like Kaya Toast, Curry Chicken with Rice, and Laksa, Seri Austin’s usual quiet and tranquil township welcomed the opening merrily. Stepping inside the modern kopitiam was a bliss as residents escaped from the heat and started sipping the kopi and teh of their choice, munching on either chicken curry or laksa or as simple as kaya toast with a thick butter coating.
The management of UMLand has expressed their intention to diversify beyond the company’s core business into the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector that would be complementary to the company’s current commercial projects such as Zenith Lifestyle centre, Bandar Seri Alam Mall and UMCITY.
UMLand with the company’s expertise in real estate development and BreadTalk Pte Ltd (Toast Box’s parent company) expertise in F&B, retail and operations of food based outlets is a perfect combination to expand UMLand’s footprint in the F&B sector.
Present on the opening day is UML Lifestyle Sdn Bhd Executive Director, Freddie Lee. He shared UMLand’s plan to open 50 more units – either Toast Box or Bread Talk or even a combination of the two, depending on the locations.
