An estimated of 5,000 bikers from across the nation and neighbouring countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Brunei and Indonesia had gathered for the Johor International Bike Week (JIBW2018). The event took place at Stadium Pasir Gudang Car Park.
The main objective of JIBW2019 is to gather all bikers to bond and share their ideas and experiences among themselves. It is an annual Johor Tourism event featuring varieties of high-powered motorbike exhibitions, carnival and also booths by motorcycle clubs for three days.
JIBW2019 also featured local and foreign companies with the opportunity to promote motorcycling products and help consumers buy and sell their motorcycles. Other than that, government organisations also took part such as Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ), Ministry of Health, Johor Tourism and Tourism Malaysia.
President of Persatuan Bermotosikal Negeri Johor Darul Takzim, Hj Abd Rahim Ahmad who is also the President of JIBW2019 said, “We are blessed and thankful for the support from all the clubs who are here. Also thankful that our road shows which happened last January was such a success in gathering everyone for this event”. He said this during his speech before the launching of JIBW2019.
Johor Tourism is planning to organise a gala dinner and special lucky draw for all supportive bikers in Johor and few celebrities will be invited to perform during that event. It is an appreciation dinner for everyone who were involved in JIBW2019’s success.
