Chinese New Year is celebrated for 15 consecutive days and the 15th and final day, Chap Goh Mei is also a big event. Tossing the Yee Sang is a must-have as it is symbolic of good luck, prosperity, health and all things auspicious. Like previous year, Columbia Asia Hospital – Iskandar Puteri (CAHIP) celebrated Chinese New Year with Yee Sang tossing in a bigger scale with their patients, staff, consultants and clients this Chap Goh Mei.
Attending guests were entertained by the appearance of God of Prosperity dishing out gold coins made of chocolate that symbolises luck and prosperity to everyone.
All the guests were then given Mandarin oranges for good luck and invited to a delectable feast catered by CAHIP’s café.
“It has been a promising year for the hospital so far and we hope we will continue to deliver a high level of service that keeps our patients loyal to Columbia Asia”, said Hospital General Manager Rahani Yaacob.
