The Johor Super Crown Polo Tournament (JSCPT) 2026 begins today, 1st September 2026, at Istana Pasir Pelangi, bringing together a lineup of world-class international players for the ssix-daytournament, which will run until 6 September.

According to Media Digital Johor, the tournament was initiated by HRH Tunku Mahkota Ismail, Regent Sultan of Johor. JSCPT 2026 is the largest and highest-handicap polo tournament ever held in Malaysia, ushering in a new era in the national polo arena.

Five elite teams; Royal Johor, Temasek, JCorp, Korea Polo, and Digital Bridge, competed with a roster of high-caliber international players, including several “Argentine Open” champions.

High-profile players in action included HRH Regent Sultan of Johor, Pablo “Polito” Pieres representing Royal Johor, Ignatius “Nachí” Du Plessis representing Temasek, and other international players.

JSCPT 2026, which carries the official “Legacy in Motion” campaign, reflects the evolution of the royal heritage towards global sporting excellence by combining tradition with the dynamics of modern sports.

Off the court, JSCPT 2026 serves as a catalyst for the growth of premium sports tourism and raises Johor’s profile on the global stage.
