Starting on 3rd August, PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) will gradually activate a contraflow lane along the North-South Motorway between the Bukit Gambir and Tangkak interchanges in Johor in order to facilitate the launching of bridge beams in the region.
The first phase for the northbound carriageway was between 165.9 and 167.9 kilometres from 3rd to 6th August, according to a statement released by PLUS.
The second phase will occur between 10th and 13th August on the southbound carriageway between 167.9 and 165.9 kilometres.
For both phases, the contraflow operation will run every day from 10 p.m. to 5.30 a.m.
Throughout the duration of the work, PLUS advised drivers to plan their routes, drive carefully through the impacted area, and abide by all traffic signs and instructions given by PLUS staff.
