Raffles College Kuala Lumpur and Raffles University (RU) have announced the launch of its My Malaysia, My Heritage Art Competition which aims to promote Malaysian culture and heritage through the creativity of Malaysian youth.

Offering a total scholarship of up to RM500,000 to the winner which is intended to assist the awardees in furthering their education at Raffles University or Raffles College of Higher Education Kuala Lumpur (RKL), the competition is open to Malaysian citizens aged 16 to 18, only.

My Malaysia, My Heritage Art Competition will be held in two phases.

Entry submission phase will end on 15 July 2023, and the art submission deadline will be in July 2023.

Participants are encouraged to submit their entries early to avoid any last-minute technical difficulties.

In its release, RU explained that all artists submitting artwork for the upcoming exhibition should know the size and format restriction for physical artwork.

“We kindly ask that all pieces be no larger than A3 size and be in a physical format. We welcome artworks made with any material, but please ensure they are ready to hang on our gallery walls.”
