Chef Kasman bin Shamsuddin of Ponderosa Golf & Country Resort won two awards at the recent Malaysia Culinary World Cup 2023 that was held at the World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
“We are proud that a member of our kitchen team was among the winners, and that Johor was represented,” said Tan Kai Yang, General Manager.
Chef Kasman is a Chef De Partie with Ponderosa Golf & Country Club, and won a Silver Medal for the 5-course Asian Set Category and a Bronze Medal for Modern Main Course (Poultry) Category. The event was organised by Malaysia Bersatu Culinary Association (MBCA).
More recently, Chef Kasman received another award in the 3-course Modern Asian Cuisine (Diploma) Category at the Melaka Culinary Challenge 2023 which was held from 16-18 June 2023 at the Shore Shopping Gallery Melaka.
