One of Malaysia’s most exclusive coastal retreats, Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas is bringing Marcel Gurk, a German freestyle football champion who holds a Guinness World Record for his ball-juggling skills, to host a series of events on 8-13 July 2023 at the resort, including complimentary shows, workshops and private lessons for guests who want to learn some tips and tricks from the world champion.
Hailed as one of the best football freestylers in the world, Marcel Gurk is the current German champion and holder of ten Guinness World Records, as well as being the author of the world’s first book on football freestyling. He made it to the final of Germany’s Got Talent, Das Supertalent, and today shares his passion for the art of freestyling with the world on his travels. Marcel also specialises in working with children and has designed his own unique concept to help take his students’ skills to the next level.
In addition to sharing some of his professional tips and techniques during daily private sessions, Marcel will host two 90-minute complimentary freestyle football boot camps from 8 to 12 July at 4:00 pm, and complimentary shows for the public on 7 and 13 July at 4:00 pm in the resort’s Herbs Garden. Private sessions are available between 8 – 12 July and are priced at MYR450+ per person for 60 minutes and include an official certificate, medal and photo with Marcel.
