Jingle bells are ringing and the long-waited Christmas is around the corner. Apart from stuffing the big red socks, it’s time to plan to fill your tummy with scrumptious Christmas feast. Celebrate Christmas at SDS with its Christmas menu, and this year, SDS has tied its Christmas goodness with a CSR touch by cheering-up orphans this festive season.
The community project known as “Light Up Happiness” was first launched by SDS in 2019. Customers who order any of the Christmas main dishes at SDS Café are encouraged to untie the surprise gift tied on the light strips which hangs on the Christmas tree, and bring home the small token. Upon the removal of gift from the Christmas tree, the light bulb will become visible. After all gifts have been claimed, all the light bulbs on the tree will become visible, signifying happiness as it lights up. SDS has made an initiative to donate a cake to an orphanage with every lighted Christmas tree. Since the project received overwhelming responses back in 2019, SDS has decided to restart the project this Christmas.
“We hope everyone we love can experience the true meaning of Christmas,” said Denise, Marketing Manager of SDS.
“We know children love Christmas, and of course, including those who don’t have a chance to enjoy the festive with their family members. Therefore, we initiated this project, and invite our customers to join us for this meaningful moment. All they need to do is enjoy the Christmas menu at SDS Café and collect a free gift from us, and they have helped to light up the Christmas happiness to the orphans. We strongly encourage our customers, especially parents, to take part in this project and make a great way to show their children the joy and benefits of giving back to the community,” said Denise.
The community project is carried out now till the 25th of December 2022 at SDS Cafes at Taman Cahaya Kota Puteri, Taman Nusantara, Desaru, Taman Johor Jaya, Taman Perling, The Mall Mid Valley Southkey, Paradigm Mall JB, AEON Mall Tebrau City, AEON Mall Kulaijaya, and AEON Mall Nilai. Customers are eligible for the free gifts hung on the Christmas tree with any order of “Ho Ho Ho Chicken” or “Santa Salmon” when they are dining at SDS (While stocks last).
Cracking Christmas treats launched at SDS Cafe this holiday season includes the mentioned two main dishes, “Ho Ho Ho Chicken”, “Santa Salmon”, and two side dishes good for sharing – “Fried Collis” and “Cheesy Nachos”. The super tender Grilled Chicken Chop with Raisin Sauce is available at RM17.90++ and the lip-smacking pan seared “Santa Salmon” served with SDS’ exclusive caper sauce is available at RM38.90++. Fried to perfection, the “Fried Collis”, consisting crispy fried broccoli and cauliflower is available at RM17.90++ and party food, “Cheesy Nachos” is available at RM10.90++.
SDS is also offering its Christmas-only signature Roasted Chicken; “Herb Roasted Whole Chicken”, and new flavour, “Korean Spicy Sauce Whole Chicken” at RM39.90++ each, the chicken is deeply marinated with a secret recipe, and Oppa’s favourite Korean spicy sauce, are believed to cheer up 2 to 3 eaters!
For those who wish to stay away from cooking, SDS has made your life easier with its Christmas party sets. The Jolly December Set which is available at RM62, filled with festive essentials such as a “Herb Roasted Whole Chicken” or “Korean Spicy Sauce Whole Chicken”, “Fried Colis”, “Cheesy Nachos”, 3 pieces of muffins, and a “X’mas Log Cake” at standard size. Whereas the Santa Party Set which is available at RM78, can certainly cheer up your party guests with two roasted whole chicken (your preferred favours), 2 sets of “Fried Collis”, “Cheesy Nachos”, 6 pieces of muffins, and a “X’mas Log Cake” at royal size. SDS encourage customers to pre-order any of the Christmas cake at SDS outlets or official website www.sdsgroups.com, at least three days in advance till last pick-up date, which is 1st January 2023, to secure their prefer flavour. SDS members also eligible for 10% discount when they purchase their fav in any SDS outlet.
