Groups of C-level executives from different industries will soon gather in Johor Bahru for the upcoming ‘Go Global Business Conference’ which will be held in August 2022.

A regional-based business project under JCI Malaysia Area Central South through JCI Johor Bahru Entrepreneur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA) at Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club in Johor Bahru.

“We would like to thank MRCA for being our strategic partner in co-hosting this business conference and also for joining our event today. They have given us a lot of candid advice through the planning stages,” said Lye Lih Chun Hoe, Organising Chairman of Go Global Business Conference 2022.

The conference aims to provide a venue for key industry leaders to exchange valuable information and ideas following the pandemic impact of the last two years.

“There are certain changes in the way of doing business after the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s essential that companies and brands learn and adapt to the changes in order to stay relevant,” Lye added.

Marrybrown and Maxis are among the brands willing to disclose their covert plans to the public with a focus on how they dealt with the pandemic and their outlook for the future. In this round, audiences will have the opportunity to meet these C-level decision-makers who are behind the big names.

“It is thrilling that long-standing brands like Marrybrown and Maxis are willing to reveal their success stories and it will be surely beneficial for other brand owners, especially start-ups and SMEs,” said Lye.

Emerging brands such as Aqina and Vanilla Crepe will also be sharing their insights on business expansion strategies in the F&B industry and the global food supply challenge, joining Johor-based CEO and Founder of AI start-up brand Pand.ai as the conference’s keynote speakers.

Chua Tze Hua, President of JCI added that a group of visitors from JCI India with 40 companies of various mix of sectors spanning from manufacturing, trader and retailers, would be joining the global conference to look for business opportunities in Johor Bahru.
