Johor Bahru City Council’s MY BILL Apps to Facilitate Resident’s Property Tax Payment

The public now could pay their tax at their fingertips, hassle-free

Datuk Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi, Menteri Besar of Johor, has launched the Johor Bahru City Council (MBJB)’s property tax bill application, ‘My Bill’ at the Dewan Jubli Intan Sultan Ibrahim, Johor Bahru.

The application makes it easier for the public to review property tax bills, download property tax bills and update tax owner information such as phone numbers, addresses, emails and more.

Through My Bill, users can get property tax bills immediately without having to wait for the bill to be posted or present at the MBJB counter and can access tax bill information online anywhere.

In the City Council Whole Meeting’s statement dated 31st of May 2022, Dato ‘Haji Mohd Noorazam Dato’ Haji Osman, Mayor of Johor Bahru said “My Bill application was created to make it easier for the public to check, download property tax bills and update tax owner information such as telephone numbers, addresses, emails and more.”

“Through the application, users could obtain property tax bills immediately without waiting for the bill to be mailed home or physically come to the MBJB counter. (Users) can access tax bill information online anywhere.”

“I strongly encourage the public to use this application developed for the convenience of their daily affairs, especially property tax bills.”

My Bill application can be downloaded here https://apl.mbjb.gov.my/mybill. For the matter of changing the name of the property owner, it must be managed on a separate website http://johor.ekhidmat.my to make a transfer application (Form I/J).
