After 2 years since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone was able to finally balik kampung peacefully and celebrate Hari Raya with their friends and family.
In conjunction with the celebration, Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens (Johor) collaborated with Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru in organising a Raya Ceria Donation Drive 2022. The school intended to spread the Hari Raya sparkle to a wider community and share the kindness with Amitabha Orphanage Malaysia which has over 20 children from different backgrounds.
Several donated items were sold during the pre-loved item sales that took place on Sunday, the 15th of May at the Mall with the help of teachers and staff as well as students and parents who had donated their pre-loved goods.
The proceeds of the sales were generated for the orphanage and the school hopes to hold such types of events annually in order to give back to the society.
Tenby Schools has been part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP) since January 2018.
They are one of the few educational groups in the country to operate a dual-stream system that combines the best of local (Sekolah Sri Tenby) and international (Tenby International School) education.
Tenby Schools Setia Eco Gardens (Johor) is located in Gelang Patah, Johor – operating its first academic year in 2013 with less than 100 students on its first year. Now the school accommodates over 800 students at both its Tenby International Schools and Sekolah Sri Tenby which had opened its door to its first cohort in the primary session in April 2021.
