Iskandar Malaysia Social Hero Awards (IMSHA) winner, Johor Bahru Happy and Joyous Club (JBHJC) held an online celebration on New Year’s Day inviting friends from India, Singapore, Japan, Australia, India, Vietnam and more to the Zoom party.
The party started off with the host, Siew Mei also known as Auntie Boleh, before the club’s Organising Chair Lee-Jean and President Lina Lim’s opening speech, welcoming members and attendees from all over the world for the New Year’s party.
Held in the afternoon of first January, the party saw an hour-long of members showcasing lessons like breathing technique with vowels, singing and dancing performances, humorous skits and even rapping in the arrays of activities.
Throughout the month of January, the club has also held various celebrations online such as the Fun Friday Clowny Day, International Day of Acceptance and even an all-in-one celebration for all celebrations that were happening at once on the 12th of January 2022, on top of the club’s very own daily laughter sessions every morning.
JBHJC holds a Zoom laughing yoga practise session every day. Participants who are interested in taking part may contact the club via Facebook to join a session or to set up a private session.
